The Campbell House Museum, a 2020 grant recipient, was the first house built on Lucas Place in downtown St. Louis in 1851. It was built by the Irish immigrant Robert Campbell and has 36 rooms on 7 levels. The house and its grounds have been preserved and is known for its mid-19th century furniture and documents.

There are lovely herb gardens and featured rose gardens with 57 varieties of roses. Grant funds from Ladue Garden Club are used for mulch around the grounds.

According to Mr. Andy Hahn, the Executive Director, the museum is the number 1 and 2 pick on Trip Advisor for places to visit in St. Louis. The museum has a gift shop and offers guided tours Wednesdays through Saturdays 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
