The Ladue Garden Club was founded in 1938 by a small group of women. They began a program planting dogwood trees at schools, parks and churches, and later highway and commercial areas.

Today, we have over 100 active members who promote gardening, art & photography, and conservation in the Ladue community.  We maintain the Native Garden at Ladue City Hall, helped create and now participate in the Beautification, Open Space and Tree Advisory Board (BOSTA),  grant funds to numerous organizations in the St. Louis Metro area, actively follow environmental issues, and much more.

The purpose of the Ladue Garden Club, in keeping with the Garden Club of America (GCA), is to stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening, and to share the advantages of association by means of educational meetings, conferences, correspondence, and publications. Ladue Garden Club also strives to restore, improve and protect the quality of the environment through educational programs and action in the fields of conservation and civic improvement.  The Ladue Garden Club will collaborate with all civic activities designed to conserve and beautify the City of Ladue.
